Operating Review
- Verify the tool interface before installation
- Inspect threads, shanks, flushing passages and wear surfaces
- Use safe lifting and handling methods for heavy tooling
- Depressurize the drilling system before tool changes
- Remove damaged tools from service according to the approved procedure
- Use only confirmed lubrication and connection practices
